I really am not a Conrad fan. I have only read him when assigned for school. This volume contains "Youth," Heart of Darkness, "Amy Foster," and "The Secret Sharer." Heart of Darkness is on the 1001 list, but I greatly disliked it. I didn't like "Youth" any better. "Amy Foster" was marginally more enjoyable and "The Secret Sharer" was my favorite. Still, I would not go out of my way to read more Conrad. Your mileage may vary!
