I found this fair-condition hardcover at a local thrift shop. It's a dark-fantasy/erotica anthology, a follow-on to Killing Me Softly. As with that volume, these stories cover many different types of love, only some of them erotic, and range from outright horror to hauntingly romantic. Among my favorites:
"Olders" by Ursula le Guin, has elements of faerie or other dark-fantasy lore, with a poignant turn.
"Saved" by Andy Duncan features a doomed romance on the "Titanic" - with an elegant ghostly twist.
Robert Reed's disturbing "Goo Fish" takes obsession and a mermaid-theme and runs with it.
Nancy Kress also touches on obsession, that of a mother for her son, in "Johnny's So Long At The Fair".
Esther M. Friesner's "Silent Love" has a man purchase the house that once belonged to the film star he idolized - oops, obsession again! - with chilling results.

I'm adding this to the Anthology Assortment bookbox, which will be on its way to its next stop soon. Hope someone enjoys it!

Get ready to feel uncomfortable, but turned on? No, no, uncomfortable. But in a good way.

LOL, this one caught my eye immediately when I looked through the sci-fi bookbox. Snagging for my own interesting/uncomfortable reading, and then will find it a new reader. Thanks for sharing!
This book was lots of fun to read. Several of the stories have stuck in my mind, like Multiples by Robert Silverberg, about a strange future singles bar.
It's heading onward now to Chicvolley99 in Colorado.

My apologies, judygreeneyes. I didn't realize that I had already read this book. I will find another place to release this book.
Thank you for sending it back, however.
