Fantasy set in our world, by one of my favourite authors.
I had this book marked as Personal Collection (PC) but I've decided to release it to my friend T, who I met recently.
I can't really remember the story; I should probably read it again.

The Lost Gate is a fantasy novel by Orson Scott Card. It is the first novel in the Mither Mages trilogy. The second novel is The Gate Thief and the third one is Gatefather.
I haven't read the others either, but can honestly say I have enjoyed every book I've ever read by this author.
