Not my favourite book so far by this author but I enjoyed it nonetheless. Though the title doesn't really have anything to do with the story!

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Added to flutterbies9's random bookbox :)
This is one of the books which has been received by me when the Random bookbox returned home.
Never read anything by this author so I may give it a try.

Well, I tried a lot earlier than I imagined when this came to me!
However, I was one of those who found this irritating to read (yet, I did manage to whizz through it within 24 hours! - perhaps because I was not as happy with it as to savour/enjoy it). I have to agree that the title and the strap lines are both nothing to do with the storyline whatever, in fact, rarely have I come across such a disconnect.
Oddly, I did not find one admirable character - apart from the potential of Jeremy (baby brother) - and the resolution of the main conflict was so out of character for any of the main characters that I wondered where that had come from.
Still, it was different from my usual fare and I did read it all the way through, so it must have had something - even if it was annoyance value! There was enough interest to get me to the end. I kept thinking that surely Hope would realise how she had been played, how awful the 'handsome' Jack really was, how badly her 'friend' had behaved and how sadly immature they all were (as I said, annoyance value), but then I am used to much more psychological workouts in the crime/ thrillers I normally read and it was time for a change of genre for one book at least.
No plans for this but it may find itself in another bookbox. Marked as available for now.
