"In 1903, a mysterious, desperate young woman flees alone across the western wilderness, one quick step ahead of her pursuers. She has just become a widow - and her husband's murderer"

This is a first novel by Adamson, who has written poetry and short stories prior to this. I have had it on my physical shelf for some time but recently found it in audio format at the library. I tend to get through books faster on audio so I will send this one travelling.
