Mr Potok bought this at an airport sometime in the past few years. He's finished with it, and I'm trying to decide whether to read it myself before releasing.

Since registering this book Mr Potok and I watched, and thoroughly enjoyed, two TV movies starring Rowan Atkinson as Simenon. That made it easy to decide to read the book! Rowan didn't fit the book's back cover description ("Iron muscles shaped his jacket sleeves and quickly wore through new trousers") but we still thought he was very good.

I'm going to take three books to this community library, and hope in exchange to find a couple nice things there to take on holiday with me!
