At the big annual library sale at the fairgrounds I inevitably pick up a handful of books that I already have. I couldn't remember if I already had this one so I grabbed it just in case, and of course I do.

So I'm adding it to Meekachu07's Surprise Paperback Book Box.

I realized I had read this after about 100 pages, but decided to finish anyway. It had been over 20 years.... It's worth reading twice.

The book arrived 2 days ago and this is the first that I have to journal. I am going to keep this book. Thank you for sharing.

The author certainly did a lot of research for this book. It flowed like a novel should. It was interesting to see how many of Lincoln's coworkers, party members, and fellow politicians did not want him in office. Such that even in the beginning of his presidency they were talking about impeachment. I don't remember learning about how many of his fellow party members tried to keep him off the ballot for his second term. Yet, in the end, Lincoln is one of the most loved and respected Presidents. Glad I read this book.

Have to decide what to do with it next. Save for the ABC VBB or wild release it? I offered it up on RABCK forum and have had no takers.
