Synopsis:
Victoria Bradshaw fell in love with London playwright Oliver Dobbs when she was just eighteen. But he had left her and disappeared from her life. Years later, he returns, a widower standing on her doorstep with his two-year-old son in his arms. And Victoria is foolish enough to want to take him back. Their early spring journey to a castle in Scotland would become an odyssey of emotional discovery...in a story about relationships as real as those you have experienced and a love as rich and unpredictable as dreams can be.
Read by Kate Burton:
KB is well known for her TV, stage and film appearances. Her appearances include Broadway production SOME AMERICANS ABROAD, and the film BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA.

Didn't really connect with any of the characters. The ending was predictable but satisfying.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
On its way to the USA.
It has been a rough year for me, health wise, and keeping on top of Bookcrossing has had to take a backseat. I'm finally catching up with journaling. Thanks so much for sending me this audiobook, Ythan. Sorry it has taken me this long.
I don’t generally pick up “chic fic” but I was looking for something that didn’t demand huge concentration, on my part. Aside from wanting to slap Oliver silly and shake Victoria to her senses, it was not a bad story. The description of Scottish landscape made me want to take a walk in the countryside. Thanks for sharing this audiobook.
Sending this off in an audiobook box. Happy Travels!
