I got this fair-condition ex-library softcover from Better World Books. It's an interesting look at a modern-day Iranian woman living in the American mid-west - and a kind of alternate-history/fantasy persona of the same woman living in ancient Persia!
The artwork's on the simplistic side, but the concept is interesting and thought-provoking - and there are some kick-ass fight scenes {wry grin}. On the darker side, we see modern-day Iran through Minoo's eyes when she visits there. There are flashbacks to even earlier in her life, when she first begins to understand the weight of the oppressive regulations... and there's a personal tragedy, which is echoed in the quest that her ancient heroine persona must follow.
