One of my Mum's books, passed to me to bookcross, but this is one of my favourite authors too, so I just might have to read it first :)

Sometimes it's nice to read something light and fluffy, and Mansell is one of my favourite authors for doing just that. There's lots of things going on in this story, but all the plotlines interconnect in a lovely way to create a fantastic read.
I initially loved the storyline following Enjay and Harry - so funny and the sort of thing you could see happening in this multi-media mad world. But I thought it deteriorated rapidly towards the end of the book. I wouldn't say that those sort of attitudes are outdated, but was kind of surprised that the characters acted quite so negatively. The only other thing that seemed largely over-complicated for not much outcome, was the whole James Agnew thing.
But they were my only real niggles - you kind of know that everything will be ok in the end. There's nothing largely surprising to find that everyone ends up with the person they deserve or their lives are a little bit better for having met the other characters.
An enjoyable bit of fluff that did a good job of entertaining for a couple of days.

Thank you dark-draco! I also like Jill Mansell a lot so I am very happy to have a new one to look forward to! :-)
In the beginning I thought this book could have been extremely short, because everything was solved.
Lara still liked Flynn, he still loved her, daughter accepted father full stop
What else to tell?
And so the book "burbled along" with some added obstacles/stories like Evie's and Henry's..
Thanks for sending it my way!

This book has found a new place in the "Bücherzelle" at the Marktplatz.
This is the same Zelle where I placed my geocache "gc meets bc" which was pretty soon removed by someone. I just hope that this "someone" doesn't have a disliking of BC books as well!
Happy travelling!
