And the book has arrived as well. Obrigado Arvores! It sounds like a very interesting read.
I'll certainly let you know should I come to Porto Santo again. Was actually quite surprised to find a OBCZ in a small pension in a small town on Madeira.
Btw, the stamp on your letter was showing the levada walk 25 fontes which I did.

Interesting book, but a little difficult to read if one doesn't know much about Angolan history. At some point I had to read it up on Wikipedia as all the different political parties/movements confused me.

Thank you, never heard of this author before! And I certainly don't know (or remember) anything about Angolan history so it'll be interesting to read :)

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:

Well, I made an embarrassing mistake in my previous journal entry... not only have I heard of this author but I've also tried to read one of his books before, not longer than about a year ago! That was 'My Father's Wives' and I can certainly recognize his writing style, though I liked this one a lot more. Found the story a bit hard to follow at first, but when I got the drift of all the characters I felt that it came to an end even too soon. Adding translator's blog posts at the end were also a really interesting idea!

Travelling to Soozerader next, via wishlist tag game.
