Journal Entry 3 by wingAnonymousFinderwing at Saxtons River, Vermont USA on Friday, February 5, 2021
This book has been hanging around my house for years. Just discovered that it was a Bookcrossing book. I must have picked it up along with a cup of coffee at The Black Cat Cafe in 2017. Cover is now missing :-(. Had planned to mail it to my friend Julia in London. It has wonderful photographs and an accessible and interesting (to the non-sports-minded: me) history of women in sports. Favorite photo has to be the one that started it all: Amelia Earhart and Babe Diedrickson at a shooting range (pistol and bow!). I want this book to get into the right hands...it’s pretty special.
