404 Not Found: A Coloring Book by The Oatmeal
16 journalers for this copy...
Back of the book:
"404 Not Found" is a colouring book about a missing robot. It contains pictures of intersteller cats and toilet monsters.
Written by the ... cartoonist, Matthew Inman (creator of The Oatmeal, and co-creator of Exploding Kittens), "404 Note Found" tells the story of a robot lost in a world of pregnant dolphins and existential frogs. Appropriate for both kids and grown-ups, the illustrations are hilarious, beautiful, and oddly poignant.

I was trying to find a good book for our wrapped book gift exchange - not finding one with a great first sentence, I choose one that made me smile.
It's a cute story by an author we're familiar with, and it's a colouring book! So I thought along with enjoying reading it people could also enjoy colouring a page or two! If you do, sign your work or mention it in your journal entry before passing it on to the next person!
Hope you enjoy~

The first sentence, which is all people will see is:
"Every day the robots wake and eat their daily robot cake!"

Picked up this book at the Calgary BookCrossing Christmas party wrapped book exchange. OMG, this book is so adorable. Now the hard part will be to decide which pages to colour...
I never got into colouring books for adults, but it's definitely more fun when there are cute robots, a kraken, and a bear-o-dactyl. I ended up colouring page 3 and the cat cthulhu (cat-thulu?) on page 29.
Passing on this book to the next reader at the Calgary BookCrossing February meet-up.
Shamefully, I forgot to journal his when I took it home in February. The story is absolutely hilarious. I tried to colour a bit, but honestly find colouring to be completely boring :) Sorry....

It was very cute, I had a lot of fun reading it! It gave me a good laugh in a few places and it was nice to be able to colour in a book.
Passing on to my friend who brought me to the meeting.
Returned to me by my friend who is visiting!
Taken to the March meeting! I'd put it aside in November after my best friend coloured hers and I'd started mine, but found where I'd put it down in time to finish colouring all the hearts on page 13 on Valentine's Day!

This was a cute story and it was really fun to check out what pages everyone had coloured. My daughter helped me to colour two different pages in the book.

I have come home from the July meet up at Cravings with a reasonable amount of books for a change! Yippee - a colouring book!
I finished colouring my picture. Got out my 100 pencil crayons from my teaching job and had some fun. Thanks for the opportunity to release some creativity. I am taking this to the December meetup at Cravings Restaurant for the next artist.
I didn't realize this book hadn't been journaled yet! I don't understand how colouring books can be stress relieving. It just might not be my thing. The story was really cute though.
Will be sent along to the next artist via the Calgary covid Bookcrossing book box.

Cute story about a robot. Coloured page 44 but wasn’t maybe in the right frame of mi d as I didn’t find it relaxing...more the opposite! But maybe it is because I was passing time till wen to the lawyers! Will try again as I think will be in my possession for awhile, till the book box returns.

Released into local book crossing group.
I picked this up at our last Calgary Bookcrossing Meetup. It was great to see everyone again, and now my trunk is filled with books to Wild release or fill some LFL as I motor around this summer.
I’m looking forward to picking a few pages before I send it on its journey.
