I was pleased to find this fair-condition ex-library softcover during a binge at Better World Books. It's a late-series volume from Urasawa's impressive look at politics, conspiracy, and childhood grievances, all set in an all-too-believable world. I read Volume 1 some years back, and picked up a few others at the library; then I watched the three live-action films, also very good though at times departing a bit from the manga. (The third film, 20th Century Boys: Redemption, covers events from this book - including the awesome emergence of mystery-man "Yabuki Joe" and his crowd-winning song...)

This volume features several pivotal plot-points, including the reunion between young Kanna, now grown and busy brokering a rebellion with the aid of some organized-crime gangs (!), and one of her uncle's long-thought-dead friends, miraculously escaped from prison.

I left this book in the Little Free Library on this rainy afternoon. Hope someone enjoys it!
