1977 Bantam paperback of the 1976 tale. I found this copy some weeks ago in the free books box on the porch of Dimond Library.
I can let this go after I read:
1968 Dragonflight [read 2014]
1969 Decision at Doona [read 2015]
1969 The Ship Who Sang [read 2016]
1971 Dragonquest [read 2015]
Edit December 30, 2018: This was okay as an entry in the series, but I skimmed it after the interesting preface. I currently have this ranked at #1169 on my ranked list of best-read books lately.
