Everyone hates the perfect family. So you'll love the Battles.

The title says it all. A tiny bit of this book was marvellous, mostly the "diary entries" of the son. I gave up on mother and daughter 1/3 into the book. Dora's language was too horrible for me to bother with and Mo should listen to Shakespeare: Brevity is the Soul of Wit. Her long "entries" just bored me. Oscar/Peter fascinated and amused me greatly. Unfortunately the female members of the household occupied more pages than he did, so once I stopped reading their ramblings, the book was too quickly finished.
