A Darkness at Sethanon : Volume IV in the Riftwar Saga

I'm not a big fan of Feist. I've only read Magician (which is the one everyone raves about). However, Feist is my boyfriend's favourite fantasy writer. So maybe ignore my review and listen to my boyfriend *g*.
"A Darkness at Sethanon wraps up Raymond E. Feist's epic Riftwar saga, a fantasy adventure spanning two worlds and multiple times. In the beginning of the book, Prince Arutha fakes his own death in order to escape his city undercover, with the help of old pals like Jimmy the Hand and Amos Trask. His goal: the northlands, to face off with the leaders of the dark elves, to attempt to put an end to the Riftwar and the strife within his own Kingdom. At the same time, Pug and Tomas set off on a journey through the cosmos to attempt to learn about the unnamed Enemy, a creature of immeasurable power that threatens both Kelewan and Midkemia." -- Amazon

I have had these since Saturday, a whole 4 days and I have not journalled them! Bad me! Anyway took these off Jess to see whether I own a copy or not. If I do, they will go to Melbourne with me for the meetup down there. I went home yesterdya and forgot to check, bad me!
Passing onto 9 mooons as I do own a second copy.
I checked the bookshelves for Magician, thinking I might re-read it before I start in on the sequels, but it looks like we (my husband or I) have unofficially bookcrossed it, and it is no doubt gathering dust on a friend''s or family member''s bookshelf :(
Ah well, it''s probably for the best - I could use those 5-10 days whittling down Mt TBR instead...

Hooray - a year later, and I finally finished the two sequels!! I really enjoyed this third instalment a lot - especially the story arc where Pug and Tomas meet up with .... let's just say "an old friend" ;)
Feist certainly paints pictures with his words. I recommend it for any fans of fantasy (but start with "Magician" first).
