This book was given to me by a friend who recommended it warmly. It regards the German poet and philosopher Novalis and his infatuation with a small girl. It is really a wonderful book, written in an unique way. Once again I must say how I admire British authors. The book takes place in locations which I have visited and this is an extra bonus. Now I will pass it to another friend who is looking forwards to reading it.

Thanks a lot for sharing. I enjoyed reading the book, Fitzgerald's style is plain but evokes a lot of imagination.
