affected by cover and blurb

I started reading without any expectations, I just picked the book, because I liked the design of the cover. This is one of the advantages of bookcrossing: unexpected books, that cross your way.

The complexity of the story impressed me and I loved the variety of topics. As I am also working as a designer, same as the protagonist, I found myself in the story. Especially in the narration evolving around the font "Gerritszoon".
I also felt a link to the "Neverending Story" with the bookshop, the magic of books and the quest of the group of friends.

I liked reading the book, especially when I found myself in an old bookstore with special books. The subject about google was strange for me.

Das Buch ist nach Ende des Büchergrillens noch auf dem Tisch geblieben.

I think it is the only English language book available at the Kürnbach "Eat&Read" midsummer eve.

A book about a bookstore? That can't be too bad...

Wow, this was amazing, I loved the story a lot, but I also loved the casual way it is told. Cool, relaxed, no exagerated agitation, the thrill does not come from the actual action but from the depths of the concepts and the linkages over time.
I sometimes happen to venture into the printing business, and I know people who design fonts, so I sincerelly admire the love for details. And it is really good to read a novel which is basically that much optimistic!

I wonder when this novel will be turned into a movie, I'd love to watch it.
