A family of religious nuts spend their holidays praying and torturing themselves and each other. They go to a savage area which gets flooded constantly. Two brothers have to deal with it all, Smith is the main narrator, and Hanny is mute - only a miracle will be able to heal him. One brother has to take care of the other.

I had heard great reviews, but for me, it was disappointing. I liked the ending most of all. There are small supernatural mentions which can get lost in the mayhem.
