I got this fair-condition softcover at the Used Book Superstore in Burlington MA. I'd been attracted by the cover-art, but when the story centered on the deaths of a number of horses I found I didn't want to keep reading. (I did skim to the end to see how things came out, and at least SOME of the animals - and people - made it to the end in fairly good shape, if that helps {wry grin}.)
