Ten uneasy tales, each centred around a female character. Don't expect headless horsemen or wailing banshees, but instead a more subtle kind of haunting. Are these truly supernatural phenomena, or the psychotic experiences of overly sensitive women who've been pushed too far? Unusual, spooky stories that will make you smile as often as they make you shiver. My favourite involved a rather malicious piece of antique furniture... let me know which you like best.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:
I'll be taking this book along to a Bookcrossing meet-up in the Knights Templar. If nobody fancies taking it home, it will be left somewhere in the city for a stranger to find and enjoy.

Well Halloween is closing, so a couple of creepy stories might be in order... The book travels to Finland with me!
Journal Entry 4 by pippis at Turku, Varsinais-Suomi / Egentliga Finland Finland on Sunday, December 31, 2017
Rather endearing read, no scary stuff to mention! I did like the one with the scholar and sheep (sacred stones around the world hold the most fascinating stories!) and the trick-or-treating one, but most felt a bit too prolonged to be entertaining and capturing. Still, like smallbluepebble said, the one with a highboy was definitely the best! I'll never look another piece of furniture in a museum the same...

We Finns love book couriers and shifting books between cities! As a Helsinki-based courier happened to be visiting, this book decided to take a New Year's trip!

Thanks for yesterday's book-exchange-meet-up, pippis! This Lurie's book will probably go to our monthly meet-up ;)
Picked this up as a couple of foreign bookcrossers like ghost stories and this is a nice slim book fit for travelling in case they haven't read it yet.

Ghosts on offer at a late-night meet-up. Oops, familiar faces will be there tonight, taavina and Tarya at least...
I've forgotten to tell that the book is still haunting me. No takers at the meet-up.
