"In OSCAR WILDE AND THE NEST OF VIPERS, the fourth in Gyles Brandreth's acclaimed Oscar Wilde Murder Mysteries series featuring Oscar Wilde and Arthur Conan Doyle, the Prince of Wales asks Oscar to investigate a scandalous crime at the very heart of Victorian high society."

I enjoyed the first novel of the series, but didn't get into this one.

CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Travelling to kirjakko as part of the wishlist tag game on the international forum.
Oscar has spent almost ten months in exile with me, in a small doll's house of a flat in Lauttasaari, while my real flat has been under renovation (pipes). You won't want to have all the gory details, so I' merely telling that I began reading this book first today and like it so far.
Still reading. This series has been a nice blend between fact and fiction and full of Oscar's wittycisms, but this book is a bit more daring and not as much to my taste as the ones I've read before. I have no clue of who the murderer is.
Finished yesterday. As said, this was least to my liking of the series I've read so far, a bit too violent and odd in a negative way. I suspected everybody in turn, so good plotting mystery-wise. I will pass this on to the same bookcrosser who got the previous one as well.
I have nothing going to Soozreader, but I am offering this to Annelis instead.
Thank you for the book, Kirjakko! Soozreader will get it sooner or later. I have some other books going her way too.
Somehow this series is interesting even if I don't like Oscar Wilde at all. The details about the milieu and known persons and how people were acting more than a hundred years ago is interesting. I don't know how accurate all that is, but interesting to read anyway.
