During tonight's meetup at Café Albatros, Bockenheim (OBCZ) in Frankfurt am Main, Hessen, Germany , I took this book from the OBCZ shelf. It started its (unregistered) journey in Einbeck and will now continue as an official BC book.

Several years ago, I took the picture of the city of Vinci.

Concise, informative biographical sketches of the three well-known artists. The original Italian versions were published in 1550 and therefore were written by contemporaries. Many sculptures, drawings, paintings and other works of art are mentioned, but unfortunately, there are no illustrations at all.

Important works by Filippo Lippi can still be admired in the cathedral of Prato, Tuscany, where I took the picture several years ago.

The book will be left in my room - hidden under the Gideon Bible.
