Brideshead Revisited
4 journalers for this copy...
Read this ages ago but I remember absolutely loving it. The cover on this edition is not the one in the little photo here - this one is the "companion" to the PBS series - photos of the cast on the front and back, but none inside (bummer).
Remember reading this one quite some time ago, and loved both it and the mini-series. Got this at meetup tonight, thanks for sharing, labmomnm, will pass this on to be enjoyed by others once I read it.
Ok, so one reading of this book is enough for me. I tried to re-read and just couldn't get into it again. It is an excellent story, so I will set it free soon for someone else to enjoy!

Arrived today! Thanks so much and love the reusable envelope -- will definitely reuse it!
Marking this one as PC as my daughter borrowed it quite some time ago and I don't know if I'll ever get it back...
Got this back from my daughter and hoping to find another BookCrosser who wants it! In the meantime I did acquire another copy at a library sale and read it - this is what I wrote in the JE:
It was slow going. I had a little trouble getting into it, but once Ryder was enmeshed with Sebastian and his family I got pretty caught up. And then we jumped ahead about ten years (if I remember correctly), and I quickly began losing interest, but I had already invested so much time that I had to finish it. Not a book I'll probably ever reread.
Checked wishlists and there are 25 wishes! Hopefully out of all those somebody will actually respond and want it!

Didn't have any luck finding a wisher who actually wanted it, so it's been lounging around my house. Sending it off now in Ollie's Anything Goes Book Box.
