Got this for 50p from my local car boot sale. I purchased it for my neighbour who was so desperate to read the Twilight books, but has now decided she doesn't want to. Oh well. I'm sure I can find it a new home (at some point).
This is the first Twilight Saga book that didn’t fully agree with me. Unlike the others, I wasn’t sucked straight in. I felt it was a bit of a slow build. The surprising middle section of the book was much better than I anticipated. Bella’s Vampire journey was interesting. Quite a few unanswered questions from the saga were answered now. I felt the second to last chapter was somewhat of an anticlimax of events after such a buildup. Then a near enough perfect ending. I never know what to expect from book to book in this series. This one was a real mixed bag for me. There were some brilliant insights into the vampire world. Overall I did enjoy the journey. Looking forward to finally watching the last film(s) now.
This book is off the visit another BookCrosser in Hampshire ! Safe travels book, I hope you bring joy to your next reader... and beyond?
Thanks Shahrun for sending me 3 books! It was very kind of you. I'll be sure to keep them travelling after their stay with me.
I really enjoyed this installment and liked that it was quite different from the previous books and went in unexpected directions.
