Sorcery is the legacy of Gillian and Sally Owens, a legacy they both try to escape until they realize their magic is a gift, not an affliction. By the author of Turtle Moon and Second Coming.

The book is ALWAYS better than the movie, isn't that right?! I love happy endings to a book, it gives an extra special after glow when you finish reading the last page.
Bringing this book to the Calgary Bookcrossing meetup today. A great book for Halloween!
Picked this up at the October meet-up of Calgary BookCrossers, held at Cravings Market Restaurant.
Yay, I did get to read it on time for Halloween and then followed up by watching to movie. All good fun.

Picked up at get together
I loved this movie when I was young, and still watch it whenever I find it on. So I was really interested to find out what the book was like! Definitely somewhat different from the movie, and sometimes the characters annoyed me a little bit more, but on a whole I really liked the directions the story took!
Thanks for good read!
Thanks for good read!
Brought this book home from the July Meet Up at Cravings.
Funny read. Oh what a tangled web we weave when we first practice to deceive. The sisters a re a bit like a slow motion car wreak, especially Gillian. Glad they got it all together at the end.
I will have to find the movie now.
I will have to find the movie now.
Well, I have a nice stack to bring back to the June meetup at Cravings. Mind you, it is 2 months worth.
Picked up at the monthly Book Crossing meeting at Cravings Market Restaurant.
This was definitely a story about practical magic, I generally like magic to be well... magical? Not a bad story, but I would've enjoyed more focus on the aunts.
Will release at the monthly book crossing meeting at Cravings Market Restaurant.
Picked up at the January meeting!
Taken to the October meeting! I got this on audiobook and very much enjoyed it! I will have to watch the movie now.
