Look let's be frank, the basis of this novel isn't an original one & Gross certainly isn't up there with the crime thriller greats...but so what? Complicated crime fiction it ain't but if you're wanting a fast moving, easy read then this fits the bill as far as I'm concerned. It kept me entertained enough to want to just keep on reading & that's all I needed it to do ;o)
