Thank you, Deltic - I do appreciate you sending the book so far. I've heard of Alan Titchmarsh but have not read anything by him so I'm looking forward it. One thing I've always loved about BC is how it has exposed me to books I would never have found otherwise, and winning this non-fictions sweeps has certainly highlighted it. What a great variety I've received. Thank you for the lovely card of the Royal Armouries at Leeds, also.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

The author has a very personable, readable style. You feel when turning the pages that he must be a nice man to know in person, as well. It's nice to feel that from a book and its writer. :)

Set this book free on the bookswop shelf - one of six I left there, and pretty proud of myself: I only took one in exchange! I hope someone finds this book who will both really enjoy it and let us know where it's been!
