Ex-library book with a very colorful dust jacket: purchased via BWB.
Rosa knows her real name is Tzunún, and her parents nicknamed her Colibrí: both names mean hummingbird. When she was four, she visited Guatemala City with her parents and was kidnapped.
She was found by a man she calls Uncle, who told her he was unable to find her parents, and gave her a new name. Now she travels with him, helping him beg. She can barely remember any other life, but longs for her lost family, while Uncle holds on to the prediction that Rosa will lead him to treasure.
