God save the Queen-only Private can save the Royal Family.
Private is the most elite detective agency in the world. But when kidnappers threaten to execute a Royal Family member in front of the Queen, Jack Morgan and his team have just 24 hours to stop them. Or heads will roll...literally.
This is the second "Bookshots" novel I have read by Patterson, et al. The first was the Alex Cross story Cross Kill which I thought was okay. This one was on a par with the other Private novels. Very fast-paced (with only 125 pages), with lots of action and some unexpected twists and turns.
The story has Jack Morgan, the head of Private, visiting London prior to the upcoming celebration for the Queen's 90th birthday. Private then gets notified that one of the Royal family, Abbie, the daughter of the Duke of Aldershot has been kidnapped. Private is needed on the case without police involvement or Abbie will be killed. This short novel goes at a frenetic pace with lots of twists, turns, and violence. Overall, a good entry in the Private series. I may be on the lookout for others in the Bookshots series.

Thank you for the rabck. I haven't read any of the bookshots stories, so I look forward to reading this one.
I was in need of a quick little read and thought this one might fit the bill. A very fast read about a kidnapping in London just as the country was about to celebrate the Queen's 90th birthday with the Trooping the Colour parade. Abbie the daughter of the Duke of Aldershot is being held by the kidnappers and Private has been asked to find her before this case turns to murder. A good read!!
Liked the fast paced story about the Duke of Aldershot's daughter being kidnapped. As usual the kidnappers wanted money and no police involvement. So Jack Morgan has been asked to find his daughter, Abbie. The kidnappers are prepared to present her head at the Trooping the Colour parade planned for the Queen's 90th birthday, if their ransom is not met. A good little read.
Releasing to bookstogive and flyingeagle.
