I gave this book an 8, however, the first part of the book was only a 7. Thank goodness, the ending brought it up to an 8. Mary DiNunzio has taken on the case of Lonnie Stall, because a thirteen old genius has brought it to her and because he believes Lonnie is innocent. Even though Lonnie has admitted killing Fiona Gardner.

Mary DiNunzio has just been promoted to partner in the law firm of Rosato & Associates. Plus, she has be asked to represent Allegra Gardner, a thirteen year old genius. Allegra's sister Fiona was murdered six years ago, and Lonnie Stall was seen leaving the scene and he pled guilty. Allegra believes Lonnie is innocent. Mary believes her and takes on the case. When Mary is almost murdered, the police finally reopen the case. A good read!!
