Three Bedrooms, One Corpse (Aurora Teagarden Mysteries, Book 3)

One of the unregistered residents of Mt. TBR that I recently read and am ready to move on.
I have not read this series in any particular order, and I am beginning to think that was a mistake. It doesn't make much difference to the mystery aspect, but I am confused about Roe's love life (which played a big part in this mystery). I was proud of myself for figuring out the killer, although I didn't necessarily get the motivation right. I enjoyed the characters -- Harris' strong suit in all of her books is creating believable people who are interesting and fun and not lacking in flaws -- although I don't necessarily relate to Roe's anxiety about her single status. I was interested in the little side angle they brought in about Mackie and racial profiling and would have liked to see more about that, although it really wouldn't work so well with the more light-hearted feel of the series. All in all, a good quick read.
