The second book I've mooched from an author I've yet to begin reading. Somewhere I read a review of this which convinced me. We shall see. Mooched from Israel.

This is the second book I've read by this author, and I'll keep my eyes out for others. I found the premise intriguing, and the opportunity to question and reassess a life and its choices thought-provoking. I was a bit surprised by the vindictiveness of the heroine, refusing to communicate with her mother, for example, but I appreciated her gradual thawing. The end was a bit pat, but I suspect this is meant to appeal to teen sensibility and maybe that's the best solution. I found parts quite reminiscent of The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which is a fine thing.

After weeks and weeks in the "to be sent" bag, and a few unsuccessful attempts to send this from Switzerland and Germany, this finally made its way to France and I was able to post it from here. I could hardly believe it when the postmistress didn't bat an eyelash as I handed her book parcels for Canada, the USA, European countries and as here, Australia. Sorry for having been so long in sending off this book selected from the Women in Fiction VBB. I hope the journey over the oceans won't be too long.

Finished this in two sittings!!! Really easy to read & relate to. Although if I ever have a personality transplant I hope it's a bit easier than Naomi's lol! :O)
