Have a re-release plan for this so picked it up at the BookCrossing / book swap Meet-Up Thursday evening.
Ah… may yet read this we’ll see. Now I’ve checked and realise I haven’t actually read a Jo Nesbo mystery, oops think I’d been recalling Tokyo a gruesome read of Mo Hayder's after which I decided I required no more grue. Clearly, I got my Mo and Jo’s somewhat muddled!
---------------------
ADDED FEB 2019: Hmmm, when/if I read a copy I'll hope to remember and add some thoughts about it here. Looks like I swiftly passed this on unread, though I had typed these book burble notes up.
Cover: Olav lives the lonely life of a fixer.
When you 'fix' people for a living - terminally - it's hard to get close to anyone.
Now he's finally met the woman of his dreams.
But there are two problems.
She's his boss's wife.
And Olav's just been hired to kill her.
BLOOD ON SNOW (Blood on Snow 1) by JO NESBØ (2015) ISBN-13: 978-0-09-959378-2 (UK PB) Publisher: Vintage

Mr Flutterbies9 has finished this book now. He said that although it was violent there was also some black humour quite evident through the writing. He thought that the anti hero character, although not sympathetic, was cleverly turned in that somehow you wanted things to work out well for him.
He did guess where this storyline was going but nonetheless he found it very readable - hence, reading it so quickly! He thought it was perhaps not as complex as some of the earlier novels of Jo Nesbo and certainly not the length but that was not a negative factor in its entertainment factor.
I do not have a plan for this book as yet, so I shall put it on available for now.

A little introspective than other Jo Nesbo's I have read - not a disadvantage.

A quick read. Different style to the Harry Hole series which was ok for a relatively short story.
Reserved possibly for the weather sweepstakes.

Slightly dissapointed in this short story, compared to other Harry hole books I just felt this one was slightly lacking in something . I also thought that this one was incredibly predictable and disjointed in places.

Picked this up from a seat near the old kitchen at Saltram. So easy to read, I finished it in a few hours. Thoroughly enjoyed the story, especially as it falls within a genre I wouldn’t normally read. So, thank you to the person who left it for me to find! The question now is what to do with it next? Decisions!!

Passed on to me by friend of previous finder.
Not the genre of books I usually read but I really enjoyed it. Found it difficult to put down and read in a couple of hours. Will now look out for more Jo Nesbo books. Ready to release into the wild.
