From the back:
"Piranha to Scurfy" is a abrooding tale of a solitary, middle-aged man who devotes his life to writing scathing letters to newly-published authors, pointing out the failings in their work. He does so in memory of his mother, who lies buried int he garden, for reasons that emerge to chilling effect.
"the Wink" recounts the story of a woman, raped years ago in a small English town, whose patience is rewarded by a perfectly satisfying moment of revenge.
"Catamount" set in the Rocky Mountains, is seen through the eyes of an Englishwoman who perceives the ruthless ferocity that lurks behind the beauty of the landscape.

Picked this up at Campuscopy and thought I'd give it a try. Loved the variation of the themes, though I felt High Mysterious Union went on too long. I liked "The Wink".
Returning this to the Campus Copy Centre Bookcrossing Zone for another adventurer. Enjoy!

I picked this book up on a trip to Campus Copy. Thought I'd give it a chance.

It's cool to see that it was successfully picked up and rereleased!

I read all but the last three stories. I found it mildly entertaining, but not enough so to complete my reading of it.

"Piranha to Scurfy" was interestingly written, but not very original.

Anyways, I'm sure there's many more who'll want to read this one, so I'll pass it on when I have the chance...if no one asks for it before then!
