Ove is a curmudgeon with staunch principles, strict routines, and a short fuse. But behind the cranky exterior there is a story and a sadness and, possibly, a soft heart. So when one November morning a chatty young couple with two young daughters move in next door, they feel the impact of his life on their family.
Sending to spoiled rotten as part of a trade she requested. Enjoy!
Thanks so much for the trade. I am hoping my Bookclub will enjoy this.
04/04/17 I could not get enough copies for my bookclub to read, so I read it on my own and will share.
This is a wonderful story that will make you laugh, cry and reflect on what is truly important in life. Having a routine is good, but flexibility is necessary.
08/15/17 Ove has returned to me and is now available.

Received this as a wishlist RABCK. Thanks so much!
A cantankerous older man unwillingly befriends his new neighbors. That sounds kind of boring but it's so brilliant. Ove is stubborn and hilarious and oh so familiar. The other characters are charming. It's one of those books that I liked so much I don't have anything to say about it. Which is high praise indeed.
