Another outing for Adam Dalgleish. For me this is the best PD James since Cover Her Face.

Although this book beckoned to me several times since arriving, I bravely resisted reading it till the end of December. It's a habit I've kept from childhood - keep the best for last.
This was the last book I read in 2004 - the best reading year I've ever had, thanks to generous bookcrossers. It is always a pleasure to read P.D.James - and I agree that this is one of her best. I think that it is the very "Englishness" in her books that make them so enjoyable to me, an enthusiastic anglophile.
Thank you once again for sharing this book, Netstation.I'll make it available for loan, but I'm sorry to say that I'm not psychologically ready to part with it definitely. It would cause me too much pain!
