3 journalers for this copy...
I haven't read this one yet, but I had another copy! The beginning of the back, "He placed a notice in a Chicago paper, an advertisement for a 'reliable wife.' She responded, saying that she was 'a simple, honest woman."'
Arrived safely in Cornwall UK today
I thought that this was a very well written book, that is jam packed with love, lies, and heartbreak. This was an absolute gem to read and I really struggled to put it down when I had to go to work. in all honest i didn't want this book to end as I enjoyed it that much

Also charity shops may well discard books that have been labelled in any way and they mostly chose only the books in the very best condition
to place on their shelves and discard the rest-so another bad release option.

This book was an interesting read. I read a chapter a night before bed and I never wanted to put it down. I just wanted to keep on reading it with its twists and turns. I hope the next reader enjoys it just as much.
