This is one of my favorite Margaret Atwood books. I think it's really funny. It's a wonderful book about relationships and food. I highly recommend to anyone.
Plus she is a Canadian Author!

ECK!
I only just received this. Sorry ukbrat. It seems that the forces that be have been hard at work, but finally this great little book has found it's way to me - thankfully.
I have read a few things by this author, but not this. What a great little surprise. I am really looking forward to reading this.
You're tops ukbrat, and you must be sure to come and visit one day.

Picked this up at meetup last night. I'm interested to see what it's like, hopefully it will give me the inspiration to finish The Blind Assassin. Thanks jubby.
I felt slightly uncomfortable at times reading this story of a woman seemingly trapped in a relationship she doesn't want and a job see doesn't enjoy. Her decline into apparent madness was a drastic way to escape - lucky we have more options these days.
Have never read any Margaret Atwood despite being told I really should, so I pounced on this when it appeared at the Cittie Of Yorke meet-up on Tuesday.
The really cool thing is how far round the world it's already been! When I'm done with it, I shall have to find someone on another continent to send it to.

I'm getting a little worried about my funny bone. It just doesn't seem to be tickled by the same things as other people's.
Most of this book I actually found quite disturbing - but Marion's quiet despair every time she realised something else was off the menu was quite amusing in parts.

Thank you minxy! What a wonderful RABCK! I haven't read any Margaret Atwood except The Handmaid's Tale way back in my High School days.
*hugs and big thank you's!*
