Another mystery by Gillian Flyyn, about a woman going back to her hometown and facing her own issues whilst trying to cover a story of girls going missing which seems to be too close to home. Right down to the last page it unexpectedly twists.
Will be bringing to the Calgary book crossing meet up at Cravings market and restaurant April 9th for more people to enjoy.

a dark murder mystery, with an emotionally-scarred heroine at its centre
Mystery, dysfunctional family(ies), dealing with death, struggling to live a 'normal' life while dealing with issues from your past that caused problem with cutting yourself. Listened to the downloadable version and at the end the said :"We hope you have enjoyed this" = not sure if enjoyed is the right word but it sure kept you listening and wondering.
I am taking this back to the May meetup at Cravings.

Dark mystery involving a bunch of dysfunctional people. The author certainly has a way of developing a bunch of unlikable characters. Can't say I enjoyed the book but it certainly kept me reading.

I really enjoyed this one -- my first Gillian Flynn book! I really liked the flawed characters and the mystery. Good read.
