The Girl on the Train

One of my favourite reads from 2015. Have re-purchased to re-read and then release, either at the 2016 Athens BC Convention or somewhere else on my EUR travels.
Decided to reread this book before seeing the recently released movie.
This is a really good thriller and basing it on the next 'Gone Girl', really does this book a disservice. While it is a similar twisting tale, this book is believable, the characters are far more likeable and you do care what happens to all of them. This despite the fact that there are 3 very unstable female characters and the male characters are forgiven all their bad behaviour, almost because of it. With London being a character in the book, it was interesting that the movie makers decided to set the story in he USA, perhaps GG phenomena again?
Well worth a read before or after seeing the movie.
Taking tomorrow as my KK contribution.

This was the book I got after our evil Santa final meet up.
