Excellent read!! This starts Jacquetta's story in Rouen with meeting Joan of Arc in her final days, during her trial. It then gives her story from first marriage to the Duke of Bedford, travelling to England to the royal court of King Henry 6th and his wife Margaret of Anjou, through the uprising of the Duke of York and then to their fall from Court and the installation of King Edward 4th....... as yet unmarried and about to meet Jaquetta's eldest daughter Elizabeth.....
