This book is actually a hard cover book which used to be part of the Marysville High School library. It still has the library card! I picked it up as part of a book exchange at a Sawyer MI weekend reunion camp, but I have no idea where the book originated due to the fact that participants came from several states, and me, from Canada. It was probably removed from the library due to the fact that the N-word is used at least once and there are some other archaic ideas that were OK in the era that Mark Twain wrote his novels...sometime after 1835 and before 1910...keep an open mind and do not be was a different time back then. The book is a "photographic reproduction" of the actual published text from 1969.

The story revolves around No. 44 who appears as a poor ragged stranger looking for refuge...but is he the other important character to whom he bonds everything in this story real or is it all a dream...

Tonight I left this book in Owen Sound at a registered Little Free Library, along with 2 other B.C. numbered books. The address for the LFL is 280 8th Avenue East and it's charter number is 23921. The LFL, which is a dark metal box, is on the front lawn of a home in a cul de sac.

The photo of the Little Free library is in the previous log because for some reason it would not load up in this one.
