I have tried to read this book several times over the years. This time I really committed to trying it but had to give up shortly in. It's just so repetitive and wordy. The author falsely believes a very westernized view of early Christianity; it's very annoyingly antinomian. He makes such a big deal about the Jews not leaving Judaism fast enough. Christianity was not a new faith---it was a completion of the faith they already had. Definitely letting go of this one now. Buh bye.
