I got this good-condition softcover from the ongoing book sale at the Dunstable, MA library. It's a best-selling tribute to the author's beloved dog, with funny and happy and sad scenes (have tissues handy if you're a crier). It's the inspiration for a 2008 film.

I left this book, bagged against the elements, propped up on the historical marker about Horace Greeley's birthplace, not far from Earth & Tree, at the corner of Horace Greeley Rd. and Rt. 101. Hope the finder enjoys the book!

My husband and I left our kids with a babysitter for the afternoon and ate lunch at a diner in Amherst toward the end of September. We stopped at the Horace Greeley historical marker to get a picture because I am a descendant of his! Two of my young kids read the book and both enjoyed it but agree it's more geared for teens and adults. The whole catch-and-release idea is so much fun though! We have held onto it for a while so we could help it travel further--Marley and Me is headed south!
