I really liked this book :)

I received this as part of an awesome Secret Santa parcel, complete with an owl folding shopping bag(!), bookmarks, release labels, cream, perfume, and candy. I have read other books by this author and really enjoyed them. Thanks so much.

This is a great book! The characters are so real and the story so gripping, yet amazingly it sticks close to historic fact. I do like the element of fantasy woven throughout with the witchcraft and the river goddess, though. A wonderful read by a fantastic author.
