I received this book in the mail today from Barnes and Noble. I read The Five People You Meet in Heaven a few weeks ago and am really looking forward to reading this Albom book.
What an incredible book. I am disappointed that I let it sit on my shelf for so long. I believe this should be a must-have for anyone feeling a pang of depression to snap him/her back into the reality of life. Hopefully I will be able to take some of the lessons from the book and apply them to my own life. I was just thinking about this book today and here it is! I'm going to work it in alongside my other read so it shouldn't take me too long to get it out again. Thanks for sharing!
There's nothing really earth-shattering in this one, but that's the point I guess. All of us should know to treasure our friends and our families. All of us should know to make the most of each day we have. All of us should know to give of ourselves. But most people have a hard time translating what they know into how they live. Morrie and Mitch deliver up some heart rending reminders of what it means to fully live.
