I am releasing this book in memory of Becky (BC screen name N-R-Jyzer), ResQgeek's daughter, who was killed on 30 August 2010 when she was struck by a car while riding her bicycle. She would have celebrated her 15th birthday on Valentine's Day this year (2016). During each of the last five years, this Release Challenge has been held in order to remembered her and celebrated her short life by releasing books in her memory. Left at the base of a locked private property gate (40 years ago this didn't exist and one could go sit on a boulder along the water's edge in peace and watch the antics of the resident and migrating waterfowl) that also has a sign that reads..."DO NOT FEED THE SWANS"...on the path that leads to a little bridge just inside the gate that goes over the water to the man made lake in the Woodridge Lake neighborhood.
