The book is here, thank you! (text on the cover, "includes cool German websites", made me laugh. Since the book is from 2002 I can't wait to see how 'cool' those websites are - or how many of them actually exist anymore :D)

Tried to read this but gave up about halfway. Sounds a bit outdated and anyway is clearly aimed at Americans (often told straight out, other times just implied with things like "European way of doing this-and-that is different to American"... ah, the famous EUROPEAN WAY that is the same all over from Ukraine to Germany to Italy and everywhere).
Although I did learn a new word from it: Kehrwoche. Never heard of that and never knew such a habit exists in apartment buildings. I wonder if it's somewhere else than Berlin because no one ever mentioned it to me there?!
